"I was originally born in Queens, and when I was 5 years old I moved to Staten Island New York. They call it the bedroom borough of New York. Both my parents were born and raised in Brooklyn from Italian, Russian and Polish backgrounds. Currently I am a full time student but I’m also working in a hair salon."

About New York City
New York City is in the Northeastern United States, approximately halfway between Washington, D.C. and Boston. Situated on one of the world’s largest natural harbours, New York City consists of five boroughs; Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island.
It is the most densely populated major city in the United States, with as many as 800 languages spoken, making it the most linguistically diverse city in the world. It is famous as the backdrop to countless movies and TV series, as well as for its theatre, both on and off Broadway, its architecture, yellow cabs, culturally distinct boroughs, state parks and colourful characters. The summers are steamy and hot and the winters can be very cold.
Staten Island is one of the five boroughs of New York City, located in the southwest part of the city. It is known as the bedroom borough in reference to both its quietness, and also to its status a commuter suburb. It is the only borough with a non-Hispanic White majority, with large Italian, Russian and Polish communities. Staten Island politics differ considerably from the rest of the city, being far friendlier to the Republicans than other boroughs, although Democrats have a substantial majority in registration.
